Hello. Thanks for stopping by. I'm Trish Sullivant specializing in individual and couples therapy located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I received a Masters degree from the University of Utah College of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health. I am trained in Comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I work with individuals using acceptance and mindfulness based approaches to manage anxiety and other symptoms in their lives. Additionally, I have helped numerous distressed couples reach their goals of restructuring their relationship to have a closer and more secure bond. I feel honored to help couples change their interactional patterns to work towards a more intimate and joyful relationship.
My therapeutic approach is to create an environment that you feel safe to address conflict issues in the relationship. Through a supportive and warm approach, I help couples identify negative cycle patterns and unmet needs, so we can work to change your interactions. I will give direct feedback and guidance founded on evidenced based practice and professional training as we work together.
